I have a Marlin lever action 30/30 and i shoot the new hornaday leverevolution bullets. They are 160 grain and i believe are said to be 2400 fps? dont quote me on that.. More than anything im just looking for a little lesson in ballistics. If i sight my gun in at 25 yards, how much will it drop at lets say 50,100,150, and 200 yards.. How accurate do you think a smaller caliber gun like this will stay at a distance like 200 yards? I am really getting into deer hunting and really wanna learn the science behind the weapon and ammunition can anyone out there help me or suggest a book or possibly a site that may be of some help???

Hornady has a pretty good website that will answer all your questions and create some new ones for you.

http://www.hornady.com/ballistics/external.php

The table here shows a 100 yard zero, which is to take full advantage of the pointed bullet's higher ballistic coefficient. Basically, the Revolution bullet adds about 50 yards to the 30-30's effective range.

I didn't play with the Calculator feature on the site but I'm sure you can play around with different zero settings, such as the 25 yard you asked about.

Let us know how that ammo groups at 100yds if you can. It didn't do very well in my Marlin(3''+) while the old 170g FP did around an inch.

The Remington website used to have a program you could download that you could use to graph the trajectory of a bullet at different zeros. It was pretty easy to use, but your bullet choices were only Remington brands (i.e. no Hornady brands). But you've got to figure that it ought to be close with the Remington in the same bullet weight.
