Zach's Big Buck

This weekend we held our youth hunt to give the kids a better chance at a buck. Zach got his first antlered buck this morning at 6:35 am. I heard it off to our right, got Zach ready to shoot, but did not hear the deer anymore. So I can-called and the buck started moving toward us. I said Zach, it's a buck. When the deer got in front of us at about 50 yards he looked at us and put his nose up in the air. I told Zach he's got to shoot, he let one fly out of the .270 (remington managed recoil ammo) and the deer ran. Zach said did I miss, about then we heard him pile up. It was a great morning!
