Nothing huge, but a pretty buck. Killed at 6:20 a.m. Came across of cut soybean field in the fog with two does - a cool sight. He just didn't have much tine length, especially on the side that has 5 points, but he still grosses 125. Nice spread and chocolate-colored horns.

take another look at the pic .the antlers and the rifle stock almost match perfect in color.

Ruger M77 Mark II, 30-06, Leupold 3x9x40, aluminum bipod (I highly recommend a bipod). Found that gun in a sporting goods store in Ft. Smith, Ark., in 1998. I've never seen one in person that looks like it.

I was asked the same question about this rifle on this forum in 2003 when I posted a pic of a 195 B&C I killed in Marshall Co. Funny, no matter how big the deer, the gun always gets the attention - like a good-lookin' woman, you just can't take your eyes off it. I guess for the next buck pic, I'll just have to leave the rifle out of the photo so people notice the deer.

Great deer. Why does so many apologize for thier deer? Im pretty sure most everyone here woulda shot it;)
