Took my boys deer to the processor this morning and he asked if I would allow F&W to check them. Said they wanted the head and some neck area but evidently they didn't care about the brain as we cut the antlers off both deer and part of the brains came out which they trashed. I gave him my address and he said F&W would send me a report or something of the sort after they checked them. What are they checking for anyway, CWD? All the deer I have seen appear healthy except for one doe that I had a pic of earlier. She was real poor lookin and I haven't got any more pics of her that I know of. Saw a bunch of buzzards the next weekend coming and going from a patch of cedars and I figured she died.
