Had a great hunt this morning.Grunted twice on the Knight and Hale call and he came running.My son got very excited and took his time and the 243 put the deer on the ground.He's 9 years old and has missed some deers last year.I had to tell him to breathe and calm down,he was shaken up altogether and I was too.I'm very proud and his papa was too.We've tried to get him in a good position for a deer for a while.The hard work paid off and he's on cloud nine.Even helped us field dress the deer.It's been a great day.Many memories to last a lifetime.:)

Nice! I should be getting my first deer tommorow morning actually. Im 15 and Ive never deer hunted until now.

It was great when my daughter took her first deer almost as much fun for the proud dad as well.

Will try to post pics soon.He is still talking about it.My 7 yr old daughter is talking about wanting to kill a deer now,she was excited for him too.Trying to instill how fun it is to enjoy the great sport of hunting and to respect what a great privilege it is to get in the outdoors.
