me and dad got offered to go do some goose and duck hunting up in illinois for $600 a person...is this a legit price

Depends on what that includes.

$150 per gun per day is around the average price for most waterfowl hunts. That is just the hunt, i.e. no food or lodging.

well its 3 days and thats all i know about it so far up in illinois on 1500 acres...hopefully ill get some more info tomarow because id like to try it

Well it doesn't matter how large the lease is, its more of the quality of it. Do birds use it and will they be there when you are. There are a lot of questions to ask when looking for a waterfowl guide.

A lot of the pot holes and shallow water areas are dry over there this year, so be sure you check out the drought first off.

What area are you to whats the name of the lodge. I know some guys up that way who can really put you on a good one when the birds are there.
