Just got a call from a friend. He says a guy he knows has 3 guns for sale. I will be as specific as possible, but this is all I could gather. Quotes are what my friend has told me, I have not seen the guns myself yet.

A browning 12 gauge. "It is supposed to be a Belgium Browning, but does not look like a Sweet 16"

A Browning 30.06. with a "high dollar" scope. Of course he couldnt remember what the scope was called. He said "mallet" but I have never heard of it.

A Browning 10 gauge in full camo.

The guy wants $1500 for all three or $600 a piece. That sounds kinda high for me, but what do you guys think? I will probably go by and look at the guns sometime this week or weekend.

trust me

I think you need to get some models, because Browning makes lots of 12 gauges, lots of 30-06's. No way to get a value if you don't know what model it is. Could be autos, pumps, lever actions, etc. Condition means everything, too. Could be new in the box, could be rusty tomato stakes.

Sweet 16's were all 16 gauge by the way.

Yeah, I am gonna check them out and get back on here and list. According to him all three guns were in very good shape. The shotgun was not like the Sweet 16 as far as the look of the gun. I am assuming this means it does not look the A-5 or the Remington model 11/Sportsman.

The 30.06 was an automatic with a clip. Will let you guys know more when I get a look for myself.

Be careful on that scope, from what I've read on those there are several different models, made in different places, with different levels of quality. Kinda like Bushnell. I'd do some homework on that scope before I paid anything much for it - could be a great scope, could be a cheapo. And the warranty is probably non-transferable.
