Here's a story for ya,,,, My Dad gave me a set of Henkels (never could spell it right :o) when I graduated from Chef school. One day I went to use my boning knife, the tip was broken off. Come to find out my wife had used it as a screwdriver ! I just about shot that woman ! :mad:

I think its "Henckles" not sure???Ive heard Global makes a nice knife to but Ive never picked one up..

I have 1 global that I bought at William-Sonoma....I just get tired cutting myself all the time. In fact--the day I looked at it in the store, I cut myself and dripped blood on the store's floor. OOPS!:o

Ive heard they are made of exceptionally hard metal (something like 60-62 rockwell) and hold an edge a long tme.
