Went deer hunting this morning (monday nov.5). Was late and didnt get to the stand until sunrise. Walked in quick. Put out 3 tinks 69 sent bombs and climbed into my ladder stand. Was not setup more than 10 min and I could hear a yote comming in. All of a sudden I could here alot. there were 4 maybe 5 yotes around me. Its thick where my stand is so they have to be within 20yrds for me to get a shot. I could see a big male sneaking around trying to find out where the scent was comming from. I hit my bleat can and they all came in closer. They started to circle my stand trying to find the hot doe. Finaly the male stepped out right under one of the scent bombs. I shot him broadside. He rolled around screaming. Another smaller female ran up to him. I knocked another arrow and shot her. She rolled. Another yote ran up to her. I knocked another arrow, shot, and it moved so i bearly missed. It ran off. That was my 3rd and last arrow. Just then a Huge female that was an awesome red color ran under my stand. She grabbed the small female by the neck and drug here about 5 feet. stood there about 2 minits then ran off. This is the coyote that I wanted to kill but I was out of arrows.
After that I got down. got my arrows. drug the two yotes out to my truck. snapped a few pics. didnt bother hunting anymore because i stunk of coyotes and had blood all over my boots. was not in the woods more than an hour total.
this is the first animal I have hit with my new rage 2 blade broadheads. Man they do the job. The entry hole must have been 3 inches wide. Im very impressed with them.
