Saw the first of the migrators coming through yesterday.

I saw the first flock yesterday evening as well. I was driving through downtown Lexington with my window rolled down and heard them. Looked out of my window and saw a flock of about 100 flying just above teh lights of Lexington.

I saw about 200 last week coming down the Ohio river, off river road in downtown Louisville. They were way up there.

Two small flocks in a bean field near Jonathan creek a couple of days ago.

I heard my first bunch while sitting in the deer stand this morning. Is it just me or are they a week or so early this year?

Thats what I thought, but I think there were some that came through early last year also.

Lots of snows and specks in SEMO today.

Of course, we were set up in pit in a bean field today and all the snow decoys were on my trailer! The beans on this field were combined Thursday afternoon and the water was barely deep enough to float a decoy. Dry field hunted Sat and no snows around. Figures!

Saw lots of ducks and geese but never fired a shot at one. Can't say that about snipe!! I know a group of buddies from PA who will tell you a dove is 100X easier to hit than a snipe!!
