Halloween Coyote

Well my first dog of the year came on halloween night. I've been seeing 3 coyotes mousing the same field for a couple of afternoons, and decided to set up on them. I didn't call or anything i just sat and waited. Around 5:45 all three showed up, i killed the big male and missed a running shot on the female, the yearling ran off with her. My shot was about 300 yds with a remington 700 in 22-250.

Congrats! I have been calling and thay have not been responding very good. 10 stands or the past 3 weeks with 8 no shows. I did not have a shot on one and hit the second a little low. Man they are one tough critter.
