Question for you guys that hunted BG today. A friend of mine hunted there also today and he said there was a camera crew out there filming a hunt. He said there was two camera guys and a man and wife. The wife was hunting as the man said both his kids had been filmed taking deer this year as well as himself. The wife was being filmed today. Was supposedly making a family oriented hunting video. He said the camera crew seemed to know the guides pretty well and they even mentioned having scouted a few spots. Anyone know what's going on with this as in the video company name or anything? He said they seemed like a professional outfit. I'm just curious as to how they managed to get permission to take a camera in there with all the security going on over there now. I found this hard to believe but I know this guy wouldn't make it up. Anyone know anything?

They were there when I hunt Nov. 15th, I can't remember the name they own one of the Archery Company in Richmond and have inside contacts, they hunt there a lot according to the guides.

I didn't see the camera crew, but KDFWR took my picture when I checked my deer out. So they do let certain people in there with cameras.

I did not score, however, there was no shortage of venison running around under my treestand. I saw at least 30 deer, only two were bucks. The first 4 came running under my stand from a field before it was light enough to see exactly what they were. After that, 4 does came running by followed by a tall 4 pointer meandering slowly. All the rest were does until I dusted the snow off and started to come down out of the tree about 12:30pm. With my gun already on the ground, I was loosening my safety belt around the tree as I heard something. Another buck at about 30 yards away, decided to take off. I didn't get a real good look at him though, he was out of side pretty quick. I have no idea where he came from. By that point, you couldn't hear much and the snow was covering just enough to not make them stand out. Most of the does I saw were in groups of 2 - 4, with one group of 8 running across a field about 50 yards in front of me. I also saw of flock of 60 turkeys in this same field. All in all, I had a great time and will definitely put my name in the hat next go round. I did not go to the check in area, but I did see a couple of nice 10s take from my area.
