I wanted to poll the members on here to see if you primarily hunt alone during bowseason.

I hunt alone, but not by choice. Most of my friends have given up bowhunting, and my father has as well.

I generally hunt alone and prefer it that way ... unless my son goes with me, then things really get exciting!

Every once in awhile, another buddy goes with me, or I go with him ... but, generally speakin', I'm the Lone Ranger.

Congratulations Xi BowHunter, on your 5000ths post!

I hunt alone 99% of my days in the woods. I like hunting with other guys, just don't know many that still can/want to hunt anymore.

FLip side is I like deciding what time to head out and when to call it a day. No stressing about running late cause I have to meet up with someone who doesn't like being in the wodds and in stand well before the sun comes up.

My problem is the same problem Fat Tony is having. I have people that can hunt, they just choose not to, so they can "sleep in, or it's raining, or the wind blowing too much". I am very passionate about hunting and no condition is ever perfect, but you have to make the best of it and change your tactics if necessary.

I always bow hunt alone. My dad used to hunt muzzy and rifle season with me but unfortionatly he passed away recently. I have a brother that and a friend that casually hunt with me but no one consistant. Seems to be hard to find anyone with the passion or time to hunt with. I enjoy hunting alone most of the time though.

Dad goes with me most of the time.He will video tape me alot of the time.I have hunted by my self before, but there is nothing like my dad settin in a tree stand i would not trade those hours on stand for anything.

I am in the same boat as fat tony. Because of that I almost always bowhunt alone.

I hunt alone most of the time, due to my work schedule. My off day's rotate through the week, so most of the time when I'm off, everyone else is at work.

I hunt alone all the time but wouldn't mind hunting with someone. I am a very serious deer hunter and have to call 2 of my friends from Georgia to talk about deer hunting. Other than those coversations this forum is my only outlet for sharing my passion about the outdoors. If there is anyone on here who is looking for someone to hunt with I am more than willing to come along.

I usually hunt alone cause I hunt hard and spend a lot of time in the woods. Luckily I am self employed and that afords me more time than my freinds have.

If my dad don't go with me I'll hunt alone. We'll usually hunt a couple ridges apart or within walkie talkie range.
I dread for the time to come that he's not able to hit the hills with me.
