I am going on a quota hunt this weekend and was wondering what everyone thinks about the conditions(weather, rut stage, etc). I will be hunting Kleber and Rich WMA.

Your chances should be good. I am seeing lots of buck sign at all my hunting areas.

i dont know were those wma's are but up in frankfort on our farm buck sign is everywhere...it should be really heating up

Kleber & Rich is right outside of Frankfort.

well then it should be good because were i hunt up there every ridge and feild has loads of rubs and scrapes

A few of my friends hunted kleber a few years ago and they killed some nice bucks during the quota hunt. All of them killed a buck they had a truck full of deer!!! Should be a good hunt.

Just got home. Drew back on a NICE 8 point, but couldn't get a clean shot.

Only deer I saw, and his nose was on the ground tailing after something that had been through there previously.

Sign abounds (scat, tracks ect..), but in the last two days I saw one rub and no scrapes.

There are plenty of acorns.
