on how I missed with my muzzleloader. The hunt started with me hunting my favorite wood stand. I didnt see a thing until 7:00 pm when I see a doe walking out I draw up getting ready for the shot when I see out of the corner of my eye another deer. So I look up and I can tell its a nice one without looking through my binoculars. So I draw up get a steady rest on the tree click the safety off and the trigger wont shoot:mad:ikfdhjlzddjflfjldjlfd I'm starting to get mad I'm cussing my muzzleloader I pull the capper out put another one it same thing. I'm starting to shake bad so I get my rest again same thing. I try it one more time squeeze it and it fires(thank you god) he turns around and starts running. I'm thinking I've just killed the biggest deer of my entire life. I call my dad and tell him and I look the doe is still out there so Im like 20 points and meat in my freezer along with a buck it cant get better than this. So now the capper wont come out of my gun. So I get down the doe runs I start looking around no blood so my dad comes out we get some flashlights look nothing we looked for 2 hours no blood so I am glad I got a trail camera picture.
here is the deer I missed with my muzzlaloader:(

well I decided the other day that I'm gonna let someone else hunt this stand the guy has yet to get his first deer so I'm gonna let him hunt the stand but what do you guys think that, that buck will score.

I want to know how your out of school right now....
Always remember what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. There has only been one perfect person walk this world so the rest of us have missed also. I would say this deer scores around 120 but I am not an expert guesser. Its pretty cool your letting someone else hunt that area. You are wise beyond your years. At your age there is no way I would have let someone in that area without a fight... Kudos to you!!!!!!!

heck I want him to get the deer. if he gets it then there are at least 4 more that I know of that are on the farm that can grow up. If he doesnt then im gonna spend a lot of time trying to pattern him.
