i am new to this stuff but i put out some deer cane this weekend and i was wondering if anyone has had success or knows anything about it. I used the liquid form.

They won't touch it this time of year. They will use that during the spring and summer when they are growing antlers.

It works, as do all of the other salt/mineral-based attractants.
Heck, I just buy the bulk livestock mineral. Works just as well and is a lot cheaper.
I'd say that your best bet is CORN for this time of year.:D

I agree. they cut the corn in our fields a couple weeks ago,and i have not seen as many deer in them as i have in the woods. Does seem kinda funny after the spring we had, and the concerns we all had, to be talking about there being TOO MANY ACORNS!!!

we've got 2 or 3 oaks in a spot that are about 8-9 feet around, just huge trees, they are everywhere under them
