any body duck/goose hunt in mt. sterling area

well this year i'm going to try to do a little goose hunting, started duck hunting a little last year going hot and heavy this year, tomorrow is opening day for geese, i'm going to sit in the blind bright and early, any tips, no smokepole hunting for me

What area are you hunting? Last weekend I was near Salt Lick duck hunting. Several wings of geese flew over within range. We were in camos in the stickups next to a slough. As long as we didn't move they didn't flare.

Just an observation, but you would probably get more response by posting in the waterfowl section of the forums rather than the deer hunting section.[:)]
