Where to Hunt Public Land?

My buddies uncle is coming in from Oregon on the 7th and I am letting him hunt my property in return for him guiding us out west next year. I would like to get him on some good public land as well with lots of deer. Any reccomendations? Also, my cousin recommended WestVaco, anyone know anything about that place?

I'm not sure what that means but they have been selling their numerous tracts off for years. I don't know the location of the one you speak of or if they still own it, but I would say doubtful. If it is there ground, there is likely a hunting lease. If it is sold ground you probably can not hunt it or it is now public. If it is public, I have not heard of any of their old grounds not being paradise, my expereience included.
