According to the latest issue of DU magazine, the duck numbers are up 14% over last year. This year's estimate is considered the 5th largest estimate for ducks that they've ever had since DU started tracking it in 1956.

Let's hope for more of these rainy conditions but about 20 degrees colder. :D

Here's a link to the forecast:

Somebody will have a good year but unless things change drastically, it won't be us. :(

We still have a huge rain deficit which is going to make most of this rain soak straight in and the long term climate forecast is calling for a better than 50% chance of an above average temperatures this winter.

I hoping that since we had a crazy spring, and a crazy dry summer and early fall we will have a crazy cold and snowy winter. Of course we probably will but not until February.

crazy dry summer and crazy dry early fall (calendar wise, not weather wise).
