HUNTING LICENSES allow the holder to take legal game species statewide by gun, bow, dog or falconry. Deer and turkey hunters must have deer or turkey permits in addition to the appropriate hunting license.

You need a hunting licenses $160, deer permit $30, and if you want a bonus antlerless permit it's $15.
$205 for the works.

It needed to go up, it's still cheap for a chance at a huge deer and great time.

Out of state deer tag is $60 (not $30) after you get the non resident hunting license = $30 higher than what Gurn said. I know, I pay it every year and it went up. If you turkey hunt in the spring too it makes it worth it.;)

Sorry, Strutter is right it is $60. Make that $235 for the whole works. I would like to hunt in KY this year but can't afford it. :( Maybe next year.

Try owning a house in Campbell, a farm in Pendelton, and having your office in Florence yet having to pay out of state because you live less than 1000 yards from the KY state line after being a lifelong resident. Ticks me off every time I send in the tax bills.

I have always griped about this. My brother was born and rasied here and Kentucky will always be his home, he should be able to buy in-state tags and license. I also think that anyone in the Military should not have to pay State and federal taxes, they should be tax exempt..... I spent 5 years overseas and payed every month....
