The wife and I along with another couple rode our motorcycles to Patti's for dinner yesterday. The food was terrific the service was great and the fall colors were absolutely beautiful. It seemed to us like the leaves got a lot more colorfull after we got south of Providence on 139. On the way back we took 70 to Madisonville and the evening sun shining on the tree tops really highlighted the fall colors.

Kentucky is beautiful this time of year, espically around the Ky lake area.

I grilled some pork chops and a t-bone. The steak was almost two inches thick and weighed alittle over 16 ounces. Everything was very tastey. The last time I ate at Pattis', I had the big pork chop. That was probably seven years ago.

You didn't see those fall colors near Patti's did you? I was in LBL all day yesterday, helping with a bike race on the scenic loop only 2 miles away from Patti's, and running on the canal loop... and I was amazed at how green everything was. Hardly any tree had any color at all, most everything is green and still up on the trees. That area is nothing like it usually is this time of year so I'm kind of surprised to see somebody mention it like that.

A coworker and I were just down at Patti's last week. It was my first trip there so of course I had the big pork chop. It is a ridiculas amount of meat but really good. I'd like to take the wife back down there for Christmas.
