posting smilies in REPLYs

FOr a new topic, the smilies are placed conveniently to the left of where you type your message [:D]. However, when you reply to a message, there are no smilies there to click. How come? Thanks.[;)]

Click on the "Reply to Topic". This will open the screen that has all the [:)][:D][8D][:I][V][:(!][xx(][:o)].
If you reply in the "Quik Reply" at the bottom of the page, thet are not an option....[V][V][V][V][V][V]

Also, if you click to edit a reply you posted, they will be available. I have often started a quick reply, then wanted a smiley. I submitted my reply, then clicked edit to add the smiley.[^]

or you can just learn the codes and type them in on the QR [:D]
