As i've stated all year,he will get no less than 3rd place in the Heisman.I've took alot of slack over this and they may lose tonight but i was reassured when i heard from "THE ESPNS "gurus that the Heisman was decided by a single players OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE and dominance.
Brohm is the best offensive player in the nation bar none,he may just get better than third. The gurus said it had nothing to do with W's or L's,just numbers.I hope Brohm has talked to Peyton Manning so he will be able to understand why he gets raped.

Well tonight's game and performance didn't do much for his Heisman Trophy chances.... Terrible game tonight by him and his teammates......

Why?Because the refs gave uconn a td or what other reason?

1st off, that was a terrible call. But it evened out. On a Uconn punt, the ball hit a UL player and was recovred by Uconn on the 1. But they missed it, and gave it to UL. UL also fumbled, and they missed it. The bad calls evened out.
And the "gurus" didn't say it was the best player for the heisman, they said it "SHOULD" be.
And lastly UL's offense only scored 10 points on a bad team. Brohm had 1 TD, and 2 Interceptions.
I will bet you ANY amount you would like to bet that Brohm doesn't get top 3.I will even bet my house on it.

No. It didn't even out. Uconn was given a touchdown. Ul was given the ball on their own 16.

Let me in on this too. Talk about a a fish! What on Earth makes you think that Brohm even deserves to be CONSIDERED for the Heisman? He is the leader of a .500 team, crumbles when his team needs him most (look at the game ending INT least night), he plays in a nobody league and loses to nobodys. What about that is impressive?

You are half right. UConn was admittedly given a TD and you darn right Ul was given the ball on their own 16. Given being the operative word. What you left out was that UConn had a sure TD taken from them. I mean, who couldn't score from the one against Louisville! Both calls were costly by a TD to both teams. Louisville got beat by only scoring one offensive TD and allowing UConn to TD scoring drives in the last 11 minutes. Oh yeah, that last interception by Brohm sealed the deal.
Brohm isn't the best offensive player in the nation....not even top-5. 29/41 for 228, 1 TD and 2 INT against a "powerhouse" like UConn pretty much takes you out of contention. You can't win the Heisman with your hands around your throat. Darren McFadden is the best offensive player IMO.

You guys need to let the experts know how terrible Brohm is, because apparently they don't understand. The INT's are thrown in a rainstorm with the wind blowing in his face. And incase you didn't know, UCONN has the number 6 rated defense in the country. Keep calling the big east and its teams weak all you want, none of the experts or any other fans agree with you. The big east is still the consensus 3rd strongest BCS conference.

I never said he wasn't any good, just that he had a bad game, and he did.
As far as UCONN having the #6 ranked defense, that number is a little off because of who they play.
here was their schedule before the UL game.......
Duke
Maine
Temple
Pitt
Akron
Virginia
They beat Duke, maine, Temple, Pitt and akron, and lost to Virginia. teams like Temple and Pitt put up as many points on UCONN as UL did.

I watched the whole game, the conditions were bad, just like they were in the UK/SC game. For some reason the weather wasn't a factor in you condemning Woodson for his bad game though.

Weather is part of football. If U of L would have won the game some of the Cards fans would be talking about how Brohm carried them through even in the rain, instead they lose and it is because of the weather that he had a bad game. I do not know Brohm personally, but if he is any kind of a man I bet he wouldnt blame the weather on his poor performance.

Woodson may win the Heisman or get second, but he will do it because he was on the better team.
PASSING YRDS.
.3 Brian Brohm
.17 Andre Woodson
PASSER RATING
.6 Brian Brohm
.16 Andre Woodson
Im sure Brian Brohm would trade his whole defense for Lyons Jr. or Tamme.Heck he'd probaly through in a couple olinemen for Locke.

I would love to see Woodson win the Heisman but if he can't, I will pull for Brohm because he is a Kentucky boy.....I am a diehard Wildcat fan but will never wish negative things for anyone else in kentucky except when they play UK.........
