Yeah that big bad big east.:D
#2 team in the country shouldn't get beat by an unranked team who lost to Maryland.

Everyone keeps putting down the big east this year why?I just love how wrong all projections are, preseason, midseason, etc.

Have you ever seen 'War Games'? You can't trust a computer.

Just think if they used a computer to determine everything in college b-ball......it would've screwed up the past 20 years of great games.

If the computers had the big east ranked #1, your correct, the projections were wrong.
The big east only has 2 teams in the top 20, they are very overrated this year.

slick, they lost at Rutgers. Just like LSU lost to us at home last week. SFU is a good team. Until last night they had the #1 SOS in football;). Ohio state has it the roughet form this week on out, according to the guys on NFL network.

Thats hardly a fair comparison. LSU lost to a top 10 team. SFlor lost to an unranked team, and rutgers is unranked for a reason.

Rutgers won their first three games, and they were against, Buffalo, Navy and Norfolk St. They then lost their next two HOME games to Maryland (bad) and Cincinnati. they were 3-2 with their only three wins against Buffalo, navy and Norfolk State.

I believe SFlor is a top 20 team, just don't believe they are a top 10 team and especially not a top 5 team.
As far as their SOS being #1, that seems off. After sat UK will have played 4 top 10 teams, SFlor has only played 1 top 20 team. Thats not even close.

Rutges is one of the most hostile places to play in the nation. here is the schedule.

October 13 UCF (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/clubhouse?collegeId=2116&sport=ncf) W 64-12 (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=272860058)6-0 (1-0)

At auburn, Beat VW, beat a NC team that gave SC a good game lst week, the game at florida atlantic is not that impressive. but that is a good schedule. they aslo said they are trying to schedule florida state and Florida, both have declined so far. But Miami has agrred to start a series.

As far as Rutgers being a hostile place to play, I have never heard that, but if its the case, Maryland and cincinnati didn't have any problem with it. I just think any legit #2 kills that rutgers team, regardless of where they play.
as far as North carolina being a good win, they are 2-5, so I don't think you count that as a "good" win.
I do give them credit for wins against WV and auburn. although remember Miss St also beat auburn.
I am not saying they play a bad schedule, just don't see how it could possible be the #1 hardest schedule in the nation. Like I said, UK has played 4 top 10 teams, and they have played 1. And I know Uk's schedule isn't the #1 in the nation.
Like I said, I think they are a top 20 team, just not the #2.

OK, slick looks like we can just agree to well agree. I was simply passin on what someone who gets paid to watch football. I agree they are not the best in the nation but I believe they are a solid top 10 team. They have talent and a good coach, which can be very dangerous any given saturday. althought thursday doesn't look like thier day.

Who knows who's best in the nation? LSU whips on Florida and then loses to Kentucky. UL loses to SYRACUSE and then beats Cincy. Notre Dame stinks on ice. Michigan is up and down. Will Kentucky beat Florida? Will Rutgers get a little taste of their own medicine from last year?

There is more parity this year than in the past. That's why each week is an adventure.

Don't underestimate Rutgers. They have a great RB and a good defense.

Regarding schedule, in yesterday's C-J they had the remaining schedule rankings for teams in the Top 5 (as ranked by the NCAA) and USF had the toughest remaining schedule of those teams...at least I think that is what it said and but I can't find it on their web site. Either way RUCK FUTGERS!:)
