Last Minute Youth Hunt Possibility

I just found out that the young lady I was going to take hunting this weekend will not be able to make it. If there is anyone in need of a place to go in the Washington Co. area, drop me an email. This would be a hunt for a doe or a buck with 15" or wider spread only. If you already have a place to go, please don't contact me. I would like to help someone that has no place to hunt. Thanks

Hey Snood, I live in Washington Co as well, about 15 miles out of Springfield. If you ever need someone to take hunting with ya, Ill be happy to tag along, although Im to old for the youth hunt by a long shot, lol.

Keeping the kids first is what we should all do more often. Sounds like some young person is in for a great time.

I posted this offer to allow the use of my property for this weekend's youth hunt. Other than people looking for a place to hunt during the "regular" gun season, I did not receive one single response. Is this a statement to our youth having a lack of interest in hunting and the sport slowly dying or does everyone already have hunting spots secured? I hope it is the latter. BTW, I saw a total of 26 deer this weekend in less than 6 hours of hunting. Could have been a great opportunity for a young hunter.
