Gotta love smokin hot sign!!

After the Saturday morning hunt I went on a scouting mission. With no white oaks this year, I went and checked on a few redoaks. I found two different places that are smokin hot. One looked like a good place to whack a doe in the evenings. I hung a stand right then. I went back that afternoon. I didn’t see a thing until I was putting my stuff back in my fanny pack. I heard a deer walking, headed right for me. I turned my head and a doe was coming in. I eased around and picked up my bow. There were two other deer. I checked to make sure they were does. The lead doe put her head down to sniff for acorns. I had a basket ball size hole to shoot through, so I lined her up at about 28 yards and made the shot. I drilled her thru the vitals and she ran about 20 yards before pilling up. Gotta love it!!!
