Go to the upper unit and when the road forks to the right, park by the gate, and walk back till you drop over the hill and bear left or right find you a nice tree overlooking a good open area, just wait till you see the one you like. The place is infested with deer. good luck. I assume you were drawn for a quota tag?

appreciate the info. actually, he is taking his son for the youth hunt. just asked me to get some expert opinions. i've never been there, but sounds like i should check it out.

Good luck. I always thought you had to get drawn guota for the clay, but a friend of mine and I was talking and we brought up about your friend going and he said that youth weekend was open for the weekend. I just never new it, I think that is great for the kids.
