Start my first hunt for yotes after Christmas.I would like to hear opinions on best time of day and under certain weather conditions if it makes any difference.Thanks

I would recomend you go to http://www.predatormasters.com and check out the calling in the east board for a thread called calling sounds and tactics.
As for time of day ,it doesn't much matter. As a begginer you should be particular about the wind conditions on the days you choose to call. Try for winds less than ten miles an hour. They can hear better under these conditions AND SO CAN YOU. Often the only way you know thye are aproaching is the sound of other animals alarm cries.Jimmie

keep your eyes scanning they can come in and stop and look around before you spot them...they amaze me watchn them they are like stealth fighters...usually they will see you before you see them
