I like to match beer with food. In fact thats the only time I drink beer is with food. Anyway does anyone here like dark beer with any certain food? Like Guiness stout etc......

I like a good stout with some fish and chips. Also, stout/porter with chocolate is good. Last week I just had a dark mohogany autumn ale with a big fat burrito at Breckenridge Brewery and that was good together.
Some traditional foods traditionally paired with beer though, I just don't like at all. Like, I can't stand eating pizza and drinking beer. I don't like spicy food and beer, they don't mix well in the stomach.

I can't do it. I love drinking heavy dark beer but it fills me up way to fast to drink it with food. Sam Adams Light is about as heavy as I go when I'm eating. I usually pound some brews before and after I eat and drink water or tea with my meal. Unless I'm eating a steak or chicken wings :D

The heavier the Beer flavor, the heavier the food flavor needs to be.
Steamed Shrimp
BBQ
Ribs
Manicotti
Hot Dogs
Hamburgers
Cheese
Smoked Salmon
The list is endless. ;)
