Hey guys, I live on Central Pike on the Mayo end. The coyotes out here are thick. I've had them walk up within 5 foot of me on 2 occasions while bowhunting and have had them follow behind me While I walked back out several times. I've tried to call them but no luck. Every time I see them I don't have a gun. One time about 5 years ago they got on my dog about 3:00 am and knocked over everything on my deck. Tore him up pretty bad. Thought about trying to trap them. Any of you tried that?

I live on 1160 about 1.3 miles from the Route 390 (Bohon Road) side by the Washingotn county line. Bunches of yotes but I usually only hear them and rarely see them. I saw a pack of 10 a year ago. I have also seen a small bear and a bobcat or two. I'd love to shoot any of them but they're sneaky for sure.

I've seen several dead on 127 lately on my way work, I saw one get hit Monday night, I stopped to look and see if he was salvageable, but he was in pretty bad shape. The next day he was gone.

My buddies dad used to snare a fair number of them. Much easier than steel traps...

Are any of you guys still trying to get after them? I've been out several times and probably made about 10-15 stands with no luck. Sunday morning I had just ended my first sequence and about 10 doves flush from a thicket down wind of me. I never saw him, I think I got busted.
