Hey, did you ever swim across the river?

No, ran into some health problems and stopped training for swimming. Tried to get back into it at the last minute, but the week before the cross river swim I could swim a little over half a mile in open water but I was toast afterwards. I could have made the 20 lap pool qualification, but there's no way I could have done the real thing. I still plow the water more than I ought to due to my feet sinking, I need to get more efficient.
