The Bottoms around Knifley are good areas. Be sure to take a thermacell this time of year. The skeeters are awful.

Don't mean to add to his post & he doesn't mind if I do, but I am planning on going with Young Deer Slayer & was wondering about the seed ticks or turkey mites as some call them. Are they bad at Green River?

Pretty bad , you better take some good spray.
The Wilson Creek area looked pretty good when I rabbit hunted there last year. Plus theres a camping area there and its not far from Pikes Ridge which is another area people like.

We hunt Green River's WMA. Corbins bottoms is a decent spot. Pikes Ridge is one of the better spots, but you had better hunt with a boat if you go there. We turkey hunt Pike's Ridge without a boat, and the walk back out is brutal with a 25# turkey, couldn't imagine it with a deer.....
