a little disappointing. I saw a small 4 pointer and 2 does Saturday Morning. Saturday afternoon I headed to the tree early and didn't see anything. I did leave early because the UK vs UL football was coming on at 6:30 pm. I left the woods about 6pm. This may have a little to do with the bad weekend. But i figured with the cooler weather and the nuts dropping the deer would be moving. Sunday seem to get a warmer than the weatherman said it would. They were cutting the corn around the woods I hunt but didn't seem to have the deer up and moving. For some reason the activity seem to slow down all weekend instead of picking up like I figured it would. There's lots of deer in my hunting area but seem to be slow all weekend. If someone has the moon phases and hunts by them was this weekend a good hunting time or not?? Also when is the next great time to hunt by the moon phases and the deer will be active. Thanks

Afternoons were a little slower than I expected this weekend. Saw several deer, but no shots. I'm seeing most of my movement from 6 until dark. Couldn't imagine getting into a stand and climbing down at primetime, but I'm not a sports fan, either!

I let a decent 8 walk Sat. night. He was under my climber for about 10 minutes smelling on a doe trail.

Saw several deer moving this weekend in the afternoons myself. Saw 5 bucks and 2 does Friday afternoon even with the wind blowing pretty hard. Sat. afternoon saw over ten deer and 5 turkeys, the deer were up and moving by around 6:30.

I went out Saturday and Sunday morning. I managed to see 3 does on Saturday morning and nothing on Sunday. When I came out of the woods at about 10:30 on Saturday, I observed about 8 deer along the road. Seems that the deer were moving more during the middle of the day. I was hunting on Ft Knox both days. By the way, if anybody is hunting on Ft Knox, there has been a big buck seen by several individuals around area 72 and 73. He seems to move back and forth between the 2 areas. The individual at hunt controll told me that it was a 16 pointer. Area #73 produces a couple of big bucks every year. Who ever manages to get this buck is going to be a very happy individual.

Well nothing to tell only that I never saw any turkey or deer and man was it hot this afternoon. HDW told me he did see a doe cross where I was at this morning at 9 am.

I hunted Friday afternoon and didn't see a deer but did see 3 turkeys. I did not hunt saturday, it had nothing to do with the ball game, the wind was not right! Sunday afternoon's wind was good for my set-up and I saw a doe and fawn and 6 bucks.
