Missed the game! My unit was in the field this weekend at Yatesville WMA. A few guys had radios, but we were so worn down, few made it to the end.At 5 am this morning when Top came around yelling "Rise N Shine", before a light ever flickered, at least 3 Soldiers in my tent yelled, "Who won the game?"You could hear a roar through each tent as they heard the news!

Great win for UK!

I've said my peace. UK deserved to win. They outplayed UL. Nothing else can be said. I'm not a sore loser. Im not happy about it. But, its nothing something that is going to affect me. I'm happy for you. You are actually one of the only UK fans around here that I respect and enjoy debating with. I hate because of others...Maxcam, Mills, Multi, Perrymax. Obnoxious fans. I may seem like an obnoxious fan, but im not. I just have to come on everyday and read UL bashing from a forum that is 97% uk fans. It gets old. I never go into UK threads and bash. I can also post a thread about sports or UL without even mentioning UK. Or making those intelligent little quips like Loserville, big easy, etc.'=

I'm sure, because you're a Louisville fan, that number is wrong. Someone will be around here in a minute to point out that it is actually 99.8% or 71.2%, depending on whether or not it factors into their argument on how good UK is this year in Lacrosse.:eek:;)

I never have said that UK sucks? or the SEC? I said the sec was the strongest conference from top to bottom many times. You "good ole boys" need to pick up that there reading skill.

OK, do you want to use these ranking all year or do you want to pick and choose which are the best for you? I've always been one to believe in the Sagarin Ratings over the others, but I'm guessing you'll be backing down on this later this season.

Just where they should be at 38th ( U of L ) and dropping.... Not bad for my Hoosier's, there at # 51 and holding...Things could get better with a bowl selection....Now wouldn't that just be nice if Indiana played U of L in a Bowl game.....I believe the Hoosier's can take the RED Birdies on the Grid Iron this year......... We got one heck of a QB leading the Hoosier's.....Kellen Lewis had 199 yards rushing, 2 rushing TD's and threw for 3 more TD's...... Class act baby...... Not to mention James Hardy as Lewis's primary WR to throw to......

That's the point....you didn't pool pre-game BS in the "all the UofL fans blow off here" into one thread. But you did try to limited the backlash afterwards. Pretty clear what happened and why.

How many originated on game day alone? Why weren't they lumped into one of the other ones? I believe you posted on them or most of the on game day.

And the backlash over UL getting it handed to them is gonna last for the next year. Just don't see the point in trying to limit the threads discussing the terrible loss for UL.

Well, on second thought, I kinda do see the point. If you immerse yourself into the discussion prior to the game on "various threads" and then the game has an unfavorable outcome for your team, then you try to limit discussion......well, it looks like you are taking your ball and going home....because you can.

On a related note, I read in the paper that several of the UL players were really upset over the loss mainly because it dashed their National Championship hopes.........:confused:Their NC hopes were unfounded anyway.......What is funny is that even if UL would have gone undefeated this season, they still wouldn't have gone to the the NC game.........why, weak scheduing and they basically wouldn't have deserved to.

Is their anybody out there that really believed that UL would play in the NC game if they would have gfone undefeated? Just curious.

I doubt it. the Cards would have had to have a lot of help. It would have to work out in their favor for sure. I don't think the cards can stop WVU. I really think Louisville is missing Bush as a running back. If he would have came back the Cards would be tough to beat. He always ran over Kentucky. I think it is possible for Kentucky to beat the Vols this year. Fulmer is gone. He may not make it through the season. On another note Tebow looked awesome this weekend. The gators are tough. I think the best team in the land is LSU for sure. Can't wait to see who wins the SEC. Go Cats!

i assume that u were upset about your team losing, so u figured u would make it painless as possible for u and '79 by deleting as many threads as possible about uk kickin ul's butt. its typical little brother behavior, but it IS unlike u ate-up. u normally sit on the fence and lean toward ul, never expected thread deletion over a stupid football game.....:confused::eek:

Thats what alot of people don't even know, the best defensive lineman out of both teams is Myron Pryor, he didn't even play until the 4th quarter, and his BACKUP was out also. UK had their 3 rd string DT start the game, and UK still stopped the run.
Keenan Burtons ankle was so bad that he didn't even run kickoffs back. It looks like he will be playing against Arkansas, I just hope he is good enough to run kickoffs back, because we did very little on our kickoff retrun against UL.
