Bleating Does?

I watched 4 Does this morning @ about 11.00am eating acorns and they were bleating for some reason,really loud! I bet they bleated 20-30 times in 20 minutes or so. Has anyone else heard does bleating this year. I have only heard a doe bleat like that when she is in heat.

They are calling fawns or letting the fawns know where they are.
