First Hunt NO Luck

This afternoon me and strutin fever headed out to the woods for our first time of the season just to see if we could catch that ol buck or even a slick head walk by, but both our luck seemed to fail. Did anyone else have success on this cool September afternoon.

i had a good evening, got to my stand at 2, got to watch a busted up 10 rub all his velvet off on one tree. he came out in the field with bloody antlers and acted all retarded, mustve been happy to get that stuff off. seen two little bucks going at it, and a nice 6 point that wouldve been close to 115", but he had no mass, looked like a bunch of No.2 pencils on his head. total last night i saw 7 does, all wich were dead in my book, and 5 bucks, 3 of which were also dead. im headed out in a few, gotta beat sun up.

Went to my new Casey county lease for the first time, got in the stand about 3pm. And did not hear or see any deer, the squirrel population is thriving there............

Sure you wasn't where I was lol!!! That sounds just like my story need to leave the bow at home and take my .22 to lower the squirrel population:D
