We've got a few dead trees in the back of our yard that we are contemplating cutting down. rather than burn it all ourself, would people buy it? someone told me 30 bucks for a pickup truck load, already split into workable pieces, any of you done this before? we would have no use for it here..

Thirty bucks a truck load is cheap. It's bringing 80 here. Fortunately, I have enough deadfall to cover my modest needs.

If you delivered a pickup load of workable firewood to somebody, you could easily sell it for 30 bucks. U probably could even sell it for that and require the buyer to pick it up.

I split a lot of wood last year. For all of the hard work that you put into it, it just doesn't payoff. I have a splitter and it was still a pain. The best part is just being outdoors.

I tell ya, if your close to a KOA Camp Ground, you can sell wood faster than you can split it most of the time. Right now a lot of Campers are needing firewood for the cool nights now. Plus if you deliver it, I bet you could sell it easily for 45.00 a truck load or more. Where do you live? I will be needing at least one truck load myself for camping fires.

Good Luck, it is a easy way to make a few extra bucks if you already got the wood to cut up and sell.

I tell you what, at $30 a truck load delivered, I'll take 2--even if it were a short bed pick up!

Hold it and hope for a bad winter, you'll double your money real quick.

At $30 a truck load, split....your loosing money big time A truck bed will hold 2-3 ricks easy depending on how you throw it in there.
