I planted half a ridgetop in clovers and let the other half grow back on it's own after I burned it off last year. On one half I have a pretty good stand of clover and on the other I have wall to wall hemlock plants. What is this stuff good for other than sweat bees seemingly loving it? Should I mow it down or spray it or what? Will deer bed in it or use it for cover? How bout the bunnies and quail?

Thanks for any info you have.

I'd mow it and spray the greenery with roundup when it grows back. It doesn't provide any food value and very little cover.
