Sept 8 is you're chance to help us (KTBA) get at least 1 more school enrolled in the National Archery in Schools Program by visiting, donating,or promoting our 3-D shoot on that day.
All proceeds are earmarked for helping a school in Madison County purchase the neccessary equipment to get started. If we exceed the goal, additional monies will go to another school. KTBA is not profitting at all from this shoot, and is donating the targets, and related activities and work for this program in honour of one of our youth members we lost last year to an accident. Its all for the kids, one way or the other, so help us make this a successfull event every year.
Thanks,
Randy Grider

You are welcome! With any luck this shoot will generate enough to help another school get in the program. Last years shoot was a thrown together shoot at the last moment, but still exceeded our goal of the required $2600 for starting a school out. We had an additional $400 or so that was donated to 4-H for archery uses. If that happens again we will either supplement a school allready in the program (arrows, targets, etc) or earmark the money to the next years waiting school.
Its been great, and i can't wait untill saturday!

many items i don't have pics of, like a "Crooked Stick Longbow" custom built to the winner's specs (weght and draw length) pack frame, i doz cedar arrows, another laminated all wood longbow, the list of small items goes on. Many smaller items will be door prize draws. last year i think everybody went home with something. Shoot fee is $10 for a 30 target course,as many rounds as you want, and don't forget the fish fry, which is worth ther trip in itself !http://www.kentuckyhunting.net/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif
