i will probably get my bow out friday afternoon, fletch up some arrows, screw on some broadheads and head out saturday morning.......

Keith, that is not far off from what I am this year. I made the trip yesterday to Madisonville to have the new strings put on my bow and shot it this afternoon. I managed to set a 20, 30, & 40 yard pin before shooting a broadhead or two. Those Tekan IIs hit exactly where the fiild points did. I am ready to lay the smack down something proper Saturday morning.:cool:

I think I will go up to mikes and have him put that new 30" cam on my bow tomorrow, then I should be ready for saturday morning. Oh and I need to adjust my poundage way up and move my peep. But other than that I am ready.......

Actually I am hunting the bow as is saturday morning then taking it to the shot monday or tuesday.

I need to wash some clothes and go through the fanny pack too!

I decided today to shoot a longbow tomorrow, I'll have to check the classifieds today for one. My goldtip 7595's should shoot well out of it, right? I'll get some wood screws and attach my Trophy Taker rest and some duct tape to attatch my quiver.

Shoo I been ready for a long time. Just need to get my cammies washed up and I'll be ready to head out. Got the Drenalin drivin tacks right now--- I might sling a couple broadheads at the target tonite just to make sure all is still good. Other than that -- I'm countin down the minutes.

I just finnished loading my equipment into the truck. Looking forward to taking the new bow out for the first time. Hopefully I get the chance to let an arrow fly.

ive been ready since last january, ive been up late pulling all nighters the past two days getting my stuff orginized ( wont be that way after the 1st hunt ). Got all my gear washed in scent blocker detergent and stored in my container. The bow is ready to play some sweet string music on ol' freak nasty, so hopefully ill be snappin' pictures one of these three days of the opener.
