whats an easy way to get the wraps off or some little tricks that yall have figured out. i know that the knife works but that takes forever to do.

Hair dryer or steam is what I've read.

boiling water or acetone(finger nail polish remover)-------works for me

Have to be careful with heat if there on carbon's.The best way I have found is take a razor knife & shave off a section of the wrap the full length of it & take your knife & raise up one edge of it & you can take your hand & pull it off.Usually a little gummy residue left on the shaft,I use goo-gone on a paper towel to remove it.I've haven't had much luck with heat...

I usually just take my fletching scraper and scrape them off, then clean the left over "goo" off.

acetone is not good at all for carbon...
