I know that a post has been done on this about what to use when you glue your inserts. Now let me know what you all use.
I recently made myself an arrow saw using a dremmel tool and angle aluminum. The whole thing cost me about $14 to make minus the dremmel.
I am getting ready to cut my shafts and chose to use Carbon Impacts 6500 series. I have shot them in the past and like them. They are .003 straightness. And my Bowtech Patriot loves them.
Any how I have seen on here where people use JB Weld, Super Glue Gell, and Epoxy. Which do you use and what is your results.

I like bohning powerbond(liquid hotmelt) real well, only set back is it's a little costly.Have to be careful with carbons & heat but most of the time I use hot melt(you just have to be quick).

For glueing inserts (carbon arrows) I use two part epoxy that I buy at walmart or lowes. I make sure the insert fits, then screw a broadhead into the insert, put some epoxy on the insert and insert into the shaft, spin the insert as you push it in and align the broadhead. I also spin test the arrow/broadhead, then let dry overnight. You don't need much epoxy, just make up a little at a time and do a few arrows at a time.

if glueing carbon use goat tuff, thats what we use at the archrey shop i work at, but remember to clean in the inside of shaft out first with q tip and denatured alcohol or you will have problems gettin the insert to stick

Hey everyone thanks for the advice. I made myself one of those homemade arrow saws using a dremmel tool. And it works like a charm. I also took RutNBucks advise and used JB Weld for insert glue. So far it in right on the mark and tuff.

When using GoatTuff use bottled water or GoatTuff accelerator. Denatured alcohol and other chemicals have a negative effect on cyanoacrylate glue.

Goattuff is the way to go.
