I'm assuming you're talking about gun?If so, shoot me a PM.If you're talking about bow, there's no since in even discussing it till you get a few days out from your hunt because of area availability. There's litterally scores of good spots to bowhunt on post and you'll need to see what is open first, not enough bandwidth on these forums to talk about all the good spots:D.............

I am talking about gun hunting. I have never been to this area and I put in with some guys (military) that say they hunt it every year.

They may have told you that, and they may have. Now, that the new law is there, if they are still trying stuff like that I'd say their days hunting there are numbered.Ogle has helped several folks end their hunting careers at Knox for that exact thing.;)

112 is a very good area in my opinion. I have bow hunted it a few times, last year i dont think it opened up until after the gun hunt was over, a buddy of mine killed a nice 9 point there late last year. Are you military? if not i dont know why anyone in the military would put with non-military in seeing that they would drop to the civilian catagory. At least thats how it used to be maybe they changed it for this year.

Our whole group is military or retired military. SO we are putting in military. They have hunted the same area for 10 years.

150, I'm just messing around. Area 51 is off limits and will cause lots of trouble for you if you get caught in it! I know it used to be hunted alot(illegally) but now I wouldn't take the chance. Good luck to you and your party! Area 112 should be a grand slam area! I hunted Fort Knox a few years ago and have never personally seen that area open for bow hunting.
