Received the mag today and was home sick so I have already read from cover to cover. There's a good article about deer hunting evolution (oops there's that bad word) called "Deer Drive." It is a very enjoyable read. They even mention this forum on page 19 in the article. There's an article about problem coyotes as well. Kudos to Kentucky Afield, the best Christmas present in a long time.

I agree it was a good read. I read it last night like you said from cover to cover. I couldn't put it down. I learned alot about Dove hunting I might even try it this year.

I received my copy in the mail yesterday. Have to agree with ya'll it was a good read. The article on Deer Drive was good and how the social climate has changed concerning trophy bucks. The story on the youngman who had his deer scored at 130...and was disappointed is just a reminder that we can get a little carried away and put too much emphasis on the rack and what we consider a trophy.

The dove article was good as well. I think its been about 15 years since I hunted doves and its got the urge going again. I believe CSS gets credit for that one. Lots of other good articles as well.

I agree with the rest of you! This was a great read for sure! I may try a little predator hunting this winter!
