talk to conservation officer today he said there was no confirmed mt. lions in ky but he did go on and say that possibly some has ventured in from tn. and some of these that are "being spotted" could be pets and as they got larger were turned loose.the co also told me that these lions could travell as many as a hundred miles in two to three days. he also said "that it was not illegal to kill them if you saw one, unlike the black bear the ml is not protected" the co did say call it in and report it and to leave it laying so they could see it.

That's funny I noticed in last years guide that bears were protected. I also had a talk about the cats and was told even though they are not native they would prosicute if any known animal was killed.

A friend of mine has got one on video right in his front yard. I will ask him to put it on the page if he can.

You're putting fuel on the fire!

There ain't no wild mountain lions in Kentucky, I could see an idiot importing one into the state and it getting away.

Everybody and their brother has a Trailcam out. Looks like someone would get a photo, even an accidental one.

Don't give me that, "people have seen them". People have also seen Bigfoot, but you don't see any pics posted. Kentucky is known for good Bourbon, do you think that has anything to do with it?
