Guys, I've changed my bow set up a little this year. I'm shooting the 100gr slicktricks with blazer vanes. I'm really impressed with the arrow flight. I must admit this is the first fixed blade head that I've used in a while. Just wondering for those of you with first hand experience, how do they actually perform on a deer or turkey? The sharpness seems good, but how about the penetration and hole size? I hope to find out for myself real soon.

I'm not sure what it is about Slick Tricks but I've seen how well the work firsthand. I wasn't sold until a buddy shot a javelina. The amount of blood he got compared to what I got from a better placed shot with a Montec was amazing.
I made the switch this year as well. I will get some pics opening morning, with any luck. :D

I'm using the Slick Trick 100gr. 4 blades this year. So far I've taken 2 coyotes (one dropped and one ran 30 yards). I missed a 150 class 10 pt. opening day (dont think it was the slick tricks' fault though). One of the heads sounds like a blade is a little loose, even though its tightened all the way down. Too bad they dont come with a wrench because they sure got my thumb to bleed good.

took my first doe of the season saturday night with 85 grain slick tricks. she was quartering towards me, hit left front shoulder, left lung, and liver. i waited 30 minutes, found her 30 yards down hill!! red foam coming from her mouth and the entry wound. hope to have a broad side shot this weekend to see what happens then. i'm sold on them!!!!

Make sure you don't loose the little washer or it will allow the blades to be rattle. I haven't connected with one yet but the fly the same as my field points.
