When my oldest boy was born I was told by the president of the college I had attended that "now my education would truly begin - for they are our best teachers."

Several years and three boys later I am still learning more and more about that simple truth.

Recently my youngest taught me (once again) about the pure joy of being alive, whether one is astride one's new (used) hawg, or one is stalking and killing Mr. Coyote - life is good!

Nice Pics! When you have kids you learn something new each day. Looks like your bringing them up right.

how old is he? And where did you get that little recurve? My son is 4.5 and I would like to get him started shooting but not sure what bow to get.

He's five now (in the picture). He's been shooting for two years. I got the bow from a really good guy out in Idaho named Mike Mecredy. He runs an outfit called Maddog Traditional Archery (http://www.tradstore.com/mta/).

I did a review of the bow on another website that has more details about the bow and additional images. I can't say enough good things about Mike, and his bows are fun for little people to shoot. The high brace height keeps them off the wrist. They are light to draw but quick on the cast. Even a 4.5 year old can learn some accuracy.

Here is the link to the review: Maddog Pup review (http://leatherwall.bowsite.com/tf/lw/thread2.cfm?forum=23&threadid=153534&messages=44&CATEGORY=3#1849132)
