Congrats on the tag! I took my KY cow elk with a razor sharp 100gr Montec at 33 yards. The broadhead went completely thru and left a very good blood trail. She didn't make it 70 yards though.:D Also, I would make sure your setup (bow, arrow, etc.) is setup for elk. Let me know if I answer any questions.

Go with what your shooting it will do the job what is your total arrow weight and what is the draw length/weight of your bow?

i agree with deadaim, if what you are shooting will work, ie, poundage and arrow weight, and it already shoots well for you, just make sure your heads are sharp and have at it....

Dont waste your time switching heads this late. What I mean is you shouldnt go into a switch-off and possibly get into something that may not work as well as what you're already set up for, then have to go back and re-tune. just stay with what you've got it will get the job done

I just want some meat droopy so go kill the big one........ I have an empty freezer:D:D:D
Montec makes one hell of a head, but your Muzzy will more than do the job as it has proven itself as one of the best as well. Good luck.
