I took my family to a 3D course a couple of days ago. We had the place to ourselves. The boys warmed up from the tower. My 8 year old took exactly 3 shots with no warm ups. It's been months since he shot... I'll let the pictures do the most of the talking!

The stand is about 15 feet high, the targets about 20 yards away, give or take...

Just in case you can't make out the three arrows - one in each target - here comes the close-ups!

At that point I should've known to leave my bow at the truck! But we pressed on and had a good time for several targets. It was hot and humid and we sweated alot.

Congrats to you Mike!! That is a nice looking family and a great way to spend time with them. My boys love to shoot as well. I don't know what the magic is to a pair of cowboy boots to a 3 yr old!

Thanks guys. It was a good day.

Rick,

I hadn't decided. I will say that I saw a BUNCH of little quail-like critters running around behind the dog kennels, closest to the casting ponds last week!
