I have feather fletchings and a drop away rest. After 100 or so practice shots to get my bow tuned in, I noticed my bottom fletchings on my arrows are getting roughed up. It doesn't seem to be affecting my shots, but the fletching is getting worn. Is something wrong? Or is this normal with feather fletchings?

i would say you are getting contact. the feathers should last a lot longer than 100 shots. if you are shooting a fall away, check the timing and make sure it is out of the way of the shaft. powder test it.

Are you shooting the cock vane up or down?

spray your shaft with foot powder and shoot it to see where its hitting at.

feathers will look terrible but still fly just fine assuming everything is timed correctly. Rest is probably going down to fast and hitting the shelf and coming back up and hitting feathers. if its not affecting your flight i wouldnt worry about it too much. If you can i would have someone who knows how to properly tune a fall away look at it and get it right and check out whats going on.
